The Magazine

A new version of the LGBTQ magazine Homotropolis will hit the streets on both sides of the Öresund Bridge on May 1, 2016, as official media partner for Copenhagen Pride and Malmö Pride.

The magazine will be in English and free to grab from cafés, bars, clubs and organisations in both Malmö and Copenhagen. The quarterly magazine will cater not only to the numerous LGBTQ tourists visiting the Greater Copenhagen region but also to the LGBTQ communities in both cities.

Homotropolis will bring the readers cultural stories from and about the LGBTQ communities in primarily Copenhagen and Malmö. Portraits, interviews and indepth articles will explore the Öresund region through a rainbow-coloured lens and will come in useful and relevant for any English-speaking person either visiting or living in the region interested in LGBT culture.

The printed magazine will be out on the following dates in 2016: 3. May, 1. August and 1. November. The magazine will also be available online at www.homotropolis.com and www.issuu.com.

The May issue will focus on gay culture in Greater Copenhagen, the August issue will be all about the two prides in Malmö and Copenhagen and the November issue will look into winter escapes and rainbow Christmas.
