If you feel like manhunting after dark, Copenhagen offers a couple of pretty reliable spots for outdoor cruising. Sex in public places is officially not legal, but off the record the authorities rarely have a problem with sex in the bushes as long as it is not offending anyone else and you are discreet.
It is not hard to find outdoor action in the Danish capital – especially not during the warmer summer months. One place not to be missed is the centrally located ‘Ørstedsparken’, which seems quite family friendly during the day, but turns quite naughty in the night. Have a stroll on a semihot summers night and you will surely have a really good chance of finding some quick no-nonsense company – especially around the bridge in the middle.
Unfortunately gay bashing does exist in Denmark as well, and should you experience anything unpleasant don’t hesitate to dial up 112 and report it to the police immediately.
Below is a short list of places and beaches that is usually known for cruising – with Ørstedsparken being the most safe bet.

Amager Fælled
Amager Fælled is located very close to popular Islands Brygge and is easily accessed by bike, metro, bus or car. When there head for ‘Zigøjnerpladsen’ which is the prime place for gay and bisexual men as it turns into a nudist area during summer.
If you go there by metro get off as the station ‘Islands Brygge’. Its just a 5 minutes walk from there. If you are going by bus take bus 250 from Copenhagen central station and ask the driver to let you out at Islands Brygge.
Bellevue Beach
Bellevue is a very popular beach located north of Copenhagen at Strandvejen in Klampenborg. The last part of the beach is a gay and nudist beach so make sure to head to that part if you want to sunbathe ‘au naturale’ and cruise a bit. To get there you should take the train from Copenhagen central station. Catch the C-train heading towards Klampenborg and just follow the crowd to the beach.
Ørstedsparken
Østerdsparken is a park sutuated in Copenhagen city center and is the main outdoor place for cruising in Copenhagen. The crowd that you can find there is quite diverse including gay party people who make a last stop before bed, ‘confused’ straight young guys who missed their way and married men who came for a ‘happy hour’ break.
