JailHouse is mostly known for its prison themed bar located in the basement of the building in the heart of gay Copenhagen. However, Jailhouse also has a restaurant on the first floor.
The restaurant is mainly open for lunch offering a selection of soups and sandwiches Monday through Friday. Hpwever, when the bar is hosting a special event, the restaurant will open.
The waitors are dressed in police uniforms, just like the bartenders serving you in the bar.
The restaurant and bar are located in Studiestræde and is in convinient walking distance from many other gay and lesbian hangouts in the city.
