The city is located in the eastern part of Denmark and is just a 30 minute train ride from Malmö located in the southern part of Sweden, Skåne. So if you are looking to have a night out the rainbow way, don’t worry – you will not get bored. Keep in mind that a lot of the gay places are clustered at or around a street called ‘Studiestræde’, so we absolutely recommend to check out that area for a fun night out.

Copenhagen always scores high on the list of the most livable cities in the world. However, it also scores high on the list of the most expensive cities. But keep in mind, you will most certainly find something matching your budget in regards to shopping, dining and exploring.

This little Danish capital is a city of fashion and if you like to shop make sure to save some room in your suitcase. The city is home to many small local designers along with high fashion and mainstream brands, so you can definitely spice up your wardrobe while here.

If you are into great food and wine your tastebuds will not be disappointed either. There are many great restaurants in the city, but make sure to make reservations if you are planning on some fine dining – especially on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays as Danes love to go out for dinner and drinks. Also, make sure to try out some local delicatesses while here.

It is very easy to get around in Copenhagen as most of the shops, restaurants and attractions are located in the very heart of the city placing them in walking distance from each other. Public transportation is also very good, so you should not be worried about too much planning when it comes to getting around.
