You have every reason to mark the 27th of May with a big pink X as PAN Retro will be taking over the facilities of Denmark’s most notorious, and now closed, gay nightclub PAN in Copenhagen city center.

The boys behind Pan Retro promise to give you the party of the year this night. They have unpacked the red carpet and will make the place ooze of both nostalgia and surprises at one of the most anticipated parties of the year.

Even the old PAN sign has been found for the occasion. There will be lots of DJs, 5 bars, funky laser shows, drag show, saxophonist, party in the yard and bodypainted hotties who will serve you all night.

“The basic idea behind the PAN Retro is unchanged - PAN Retro will, like in the good old days, be inclusive, excite, shock and be this year’s best homo party for young,  old, lesbians and gays. We still think that the daily newspaper Politiken’s coverage of the first party is spot on: “PAN Retro -the party straight people hate not being invited to”, the event makers state. They also underline that beer bar and DJ in the yard of course depends on the weather.

At the top floor where PAN 2 used to be, DJ Ditte Riis from GBAR in Aarhus and Club Christopher‘s resident DJ Chrelle will take care of the beats, while DJ BlueM Dj and Dj Mary Swan will do the mixing at PAN 1 at the first floor.

The theme for this PAN Retro party is ”black & white” and the doors open at 10 pm. Get double up on beer and booze until midnight.
